We're seeking a dynamic Recruitment Marketing Specialist to lead strategic, creative, and data-informed efforts to attract top talent to the City of New Orleans. In this role, you’ll blend recruitment expertise with innovative marketing techniques to promote public sector careers that make a difference.

You'll be responsible for:

• Designing and executing multi-channel talent attraction campaigns (digital, social, print, and events).

• Building and nurturing talent pipelines aligned with our workforce goals.

• Representing the City at hiring fairs, career expos, and university outreach events.

• Crafting compelling content (flyers, videos, social posts, email copy) that highlights our mission, culture, and career opportunities.

• Partnering with internal communications and public information teams to amplify job openings and promote employer branding.

• Using data and analytics to track marketing effectiveness and optimize outreach strategies.

Minimum Qualifications (Entrance Requirements)

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Communications, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in talent acquisition, recruitment marketing, employer branding, or a closely related area.

Evaluation Process

Applicants will be evaluated based on a training and experience rating, weighted at 100%. Relevant professional experience gained within the last ten (10) years will be considered for scoring.
